SMILES
CHILDREN
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends children see an orthodontist by age seven. Few children will need to begin treatment that young, but there are some who will benefit from early intervention.
TEENS
The teenage years are the most common time for orthodontic treatment. The facial and jaw bones are still growing, and an orthodontist can use that to their advantage.
